A little north of the town of Fountain (in which the last new construction was about 1950, I bet) the main road veers east. There is supposedly a benchmark, but I couldn't find it. This was another gridding exercise for this liner point. The highest place may have been in the front yard of the house, or in the back of the adjacent field.
