Shepard Mtn

From 220 and 64 in Asheboro, head west on 64 for 7 miles,
and turn right onto Shepard Mountain Road at signs for Shepard Mountain Retreat.
Drive 1.1 miles, turn right following signs for Shepard Mountain Resort.
At 0.7 mile is the gated road to the summit. It was heavily posted.
I called the number on the sign, and knocked on the caretakers house another
0.2 mile down the road with no luck.
With no one else around to ask, I decided to wait and make contact another time.
