Wayne County Highpoint Trip Report

Southwest of Goldsboro, from intersection of 1219 (Old Grantham) and 1223 (Blackjack),
go west on 1219 for 0.3 mile and turn right (north) on a sand track
that follows the power line. Passable by passenger car, drive 0.3 mile to locally highest land.
Topo charts show a height of land in the woods to the east of the
power line but it was not evident.
I walked both sides of the power line and the woods until I was satisfied.
I also drove the nearby trailer courts but believe they are lower.
