Saddle Butte (2,820+ ft)

From Watford City drive east on ND23 to its turn north at intersection with ND73. Drive north on ND23
for 5 miles and turn right onto CR14, drive 2 miles and turn right (south), and drive just over a mile and park
on the side of the road just west of Saddle Butte.
The fence and gates are posted no trespassing, so I asked a local couple driving by if they thought anyone
would mind me hiking to the top, and they said there should be no problem. There is a communication
tower on the lower side of Saddle Butte. I hiked up the 4WD road shown on the topo, and then veered
right and up the steep side of the high side to the top. This is a quick one and has nice views.
