From the intersection of US 83 and US 6/34 near McCook, Nebraska, zero odometer.

0.0 US 83 and US 6/34 - Go West on 6/34.
4.3 Road 380 - Turn left (south).
6.5 Road turns to dirt - Go straight ahead.
9.9 Road 710 - Turn right (west).
10.3 Road jogs left.
10.6 DR 379 - Go straight ahead (south) along the transmission towers.
15.4 Road 706 junction - Go straight ahead on DR 379.
18.0 T junction - DR 703 and Road 380. Park.

Walk due south into the field along the pole line for 0.2 mile. Roam around a bit to cover all possibilities.

Here's an alternate route if coming from the west (my route out). At the intersection of US 6/34 and State Highway 17 in Culbertson, go south on 17 for 12.8 miles. Turn left (east) on Road 706 for 3.2 miles to the junction with Road 706 and DR 379. Turn right (south) and follow the previous route for 2.6 miles.
