Cape May County High Point Trip Report

Date: January 24, 2004
Author: Michael Schwartz

Update to my February 1999 report, for the two areas 1 3/4 miles northeast of Halberton.

The directions are still good. For the tiny area south of CR 548, hike or drive the dirt road until it forks. About 200 feet to the right (west) see a stand of laurel crowning a small bump that GPS verifies as the tiny area.

For the larger area north of CR 548, hike or drive the dirt road to a pullout on the west side. Bushwhack east a few hundred feet to high ground at a large, relatively clear area. Don't quit too soon, or GPS will strike you down from above.
