An easy one for my first state highpoint!
Not so easy for Lee Ann who is terrified of heights.
Took I-84 east to Exit 1 in New Jersey. From there it was NJ 23 right to High
Point State Park. The park fee is $10.00 on weekends and $5.00 during the week.
The park itself is beautiful. The road to the high point runs past a
picturesque lake which has a little beach. Then it's right to the top, park,
and walk to the 200-foot tall monument which resembles the Washington Monument
in D.C. We enjoyed some great views on a windy day.
