We drove to the trailhead for Whitewater Baldy and made a quick ascent in fading
weather, with rain and thunder chasing us down. We were up in ~2 1/2, and down
in less than 2 hours, with a 1/2 hr of lunch and chatting. The use trail to
the top from the spring junction is very good! No problem at all, although a
bit convoluted the last 100 yards along the flat summit area around downed timber.
