Little Costilla Peak

We drove in my vehicle to a little west of the pass, parked and climbed west
up a meadow to the main south ridge of Little Costilla Peak.
This was also the fence line. We hiked up the ridge and over several false summits
to the top at 12,584 ft. There was a strong cold wind above timberline,
inconsequential patches of snow, and a good view around once we got to the summit.
The hike down was more cold wind, then just a long tiring descent.
