Organ Range from the west. Organ Needle is set back relative to the other peaks
and hence appears deceivingly lower ("O"). Dark saddle ("ds")
lies immediately to the right in this photo, and is southeast of the summit.

Trailhead sign at the La Cueva picnic area in the BLM Preserve. In Richard and Adam's
report they recommend starting from the desert floor rather
than from within the preserve.

A prominent feature along the climbing route is this group of rocks, which may appear
yellow depending on the lighting conditions. See their report
for using the rocks as a navigational aid. Adam is shown for scale.
photo 4 - by Richard Carey and Adam Helman. View of climbing
route from the saddle just north of point 7778. See their report
for a full description. The blue arrow indicates Dark Saddle, and is, along with Dark Canyon,
hidden from view until you are right upon it - at the end of the superimposed, dotted green path.
photo 5 - by Richard Carey and Adam Helman. A fifteen foot
right-leaning diagonal crack is the "crux" move, rated class 3+. Adam is shown for scale.
