This effort was part of a larger journey
collecting New England county highpoints in October 2010.
It is 11 road miles from Interstate-84 to the trailhead for this county highpoint via
Ridgefield, Route 116, Barrack Hill Road, Sleepy Hollow Road and, finally, Pine Lake Road.
The trailhead
coordinates are (41.31700° N, 73.54833° W); with a concrete Connecticut-New York boundary obelisk
to the northeast a few footfalls away.

coordinates are (41.31229° N, 73.55127° W); with a survey marker poking up from the earth.
