one area with radio tower, 2 miles ENE of Catawba (1,305 ft)

From Catawba (where 54 turns W) go 1.9 miles E on Pleasant Street (also known as
Mechanicsburg/Catawba Road) to obscure grassy radio tower access road on S side. Radio tower is fenced
off on all sides with no trespassing signs on an old low gate across the access road. We jumped the low
gate, watching for thick and tall poison ivy, and walked 0.2 miles to the tower area. High point is in the
immediate vicinity of the huge, impossible to miss, tower.
Note that there were many road detours in the area when we did this highpoint; therefore, mileage and
routes may differ in the future.
