Madison County High Point Trip Report

Leave Interstate 70 at exit 72 and head south on Route 56 for 0.75 mile to US 40. Turn right and drive
west on US 49 for 1.2 miles to the intersection with Markley and Potee Roads. Turn left on Markley and
proceed southwest for another 2.25 miles to the intersection with Brighton Road. Turn right (northwest)
and go 0.15 mile to a slight bend in the road and park on the west side.
Hike up a rise in the cornfield to the west to the high point of Madison County
(39° 54.512' N, 83° 32.601' W). This is an easy one when the field is open.
