1 or 2 areas 1/2 mile west of Russian Cemetery (680+ ft)

From Port Clinton, take OH 163 east toward Marblehead. Pass Danbury High School on left, then go 0.2 miles further to a gated gravel road on the right signed "private nature reserve management area, no trespassing." This is the track road shown on the topo that passes between the two high point areas. When I arrived, there were workmen present, who had no objection to my entering. They advised that the road leads to an active quarry, but is not the primary access route. They further advised that trespassers face a $99 fine if caught, and warned not to go too close to the quarry. Where the road crests between the two areas, I climbed the manmade embankment and looked over the southern area. It has been totally mined down, and need not be visited or listed. I then bushwhacked north to the larger area, which has been disturbed, but still has a wooded, knobby summit. The easiest way to visit this point is to walk up the gated road for a short distance, until the edge of the hill comes very near the road, then bushwhack directly into the woods and up the hill. One could also cut directly into the woods without ever setting foot on the gravel road.
