From Evansville, AR at the corner of Hwy. 59 and County Rte 4422, at the sign for the Elk (or perhaps Elm) Grove Baptist Church. Drive West on 4422 into Oklahoma (not signed) for 0.7 miles to a fork. Right goes to Elk Grove Church. You should go left. Another 1.2 miles is another fork. You should go left, uphill. At 2.5 miles is a T. Pavement ends. Turn left and go 0.4 mile to a gate for a communications tower. Park here.

The gate was not locked and I went out to the tower. (Perhaps this is the mysterious 4th point.) Up in back of the tower is a slight rise. On top of this rise is a cairn of rocks (area 1). My level didn't show anything higher to the south. Nevertheless, I walked about 1.5 miles farther, going over another slight rise to a final bump. There was obviously nothing higher to the South. The ridge dropped off quickly from this point so I claimed the county.
