Alfalfa County High Point Trip Report
Date: May 22, 2002
From OK11 between Alva and Medford, drive 6 miles east from the junction of OK11 and US 281 north in Alva.
This brings you to the Woods-Alfalfa county line. Turn right and drive 3 miles south. Turn left and
drive east about a quarter mile. When I was there, you could follow a track going north through a cultivated
field to the vicinity of the 2 contours. It was hard to detect the two separate hp areas. No doubt years of
cultivation has rounded them off. The broad high area here is fairly obvious.
For the third area, continue the remainder of the mile east. Turn right and drive a little over a half mile south.
This high area is north of a house, in a cultivated field, and is fairly near the road.
