Beaver County High Point Trip Report

From U.S.83 at the Texas state line head west on Baseline Road (on topo) but RD 1 on the sign. Take the
dirt road approximately 10 miles west. The best landmark is where the road becomes paved straight ahead
and to the right. There is also a gas plant ahead and to the right. Two miles before reaching this point there
is high area in the road and another about 3/4 mile west. These are both candidates for the HP.
However, taking the paved road north almost a mile you come to a dirt road on the right with a sign saying
"Chaparral Energy, Inc." but not posted or gated. I walked the road and went to the high area to the left in
the field that is easily visible.
There is also a possibility to the west of the entrance but appears lower than the road.
