Driving: This is a gimme. From Interstate 35 and US 70 at Exit 29, zero odometer.

0.0 I-35 and US 70 - go east on 70
11.1 Marshall County line - go straight
16.1 Simpson Road - turn Left (north)
19.6 Middleton property driveway - park

Hiking: Ask permission. Go around the gate and up the road to the high point at the tower. Mr. Middleton said another person was there from out west. I figured it was Bob Martin.

You can also reach the Middleton place from the north. From Mannsville on Highway 177/199, go south on Grant Road 3.3 miles. Grant changes to Simpson Road somewhere along the way.
