Long Ridge on Greasy quadrangle (spot elevation 1,581 ft)

To reach this highpoint from US Hwy. 59 and Oklahoma 101 just north of Sallisaw, go north on US 59 8.7
miles to the Rocky Point Grocery Store continue north on US 59 for 2.2 miles to a unnamed dirt road to the east.
Another 0.3 mile to the north along US 59 is a pullout on the east side of the road. Park here, there is
plenty room along the shoulder of the road.
The ridge crest with the highpoint is 0.25 mile to the east of this point. The route to the summit is covered
with trees with a fence about half way to the summit, the area is not posted. The ridge top has a dirt road on top,
which seems to originate at a farm on the south end of the ridge. The actual highpoint area is disturbed
by the road, leaving the natural highpoint on either side of the road. I could not tell which was higher.
There were no views from the top.
