We visited this peak on a socked-in day, but I doubt it's particularly
outstanding. Just a normal southern Oregon Coast Range summit.
From I-5, head to Galice from any of a number of exits between Wolf Creek
and Grants Pass. From Galice take Forest Road 23 to just short of Bear
Camp, and the junction of FR 2308. Turn left on 2308; follow it for about 3
miles to the point where it just barely creeps west enough to touch the
Brandy Peak quad. Park.
Head up the hill to the west, heading for the saddle south of Brandy Peak.
Turn north to the summit. Round trip about 1/3 mile, 650' gain.
