Take I-80 to PA 115 south. Take PA 115 two miles to the junction with PA 903. Go west. After two miles you will see a sign for the Big Boulder Ski Resort. Pull over to the right here. There is a locked gate with trespassing warnings banning non-authorized motor vehicles from the road. However, the sign mentions nothing against pedestrian traffic.

Walk down the hill and come to a nice view of Big Boulder Lake and the resort in the distance. A few sailboats were on the lake when we were there. Make the first left after the lake and hike up the hill to the summit, about one mile.

The high point is a jumble of rocks a few hundred feet west of the first set of radio towers. The rusted metal steps and bridge that lead to it are very old and rotten. You'd probably be better off just scrambling up the rocks to the top as the steps are almost rusted through. One of the steps collapsed as I walked up. There is a survey marker just below and east of the high point and I made a rock pyramid to mark the high point.
