Huntingdon County High Point Trip Report

Date: October 3, 2003
Author: Chip Clark

An update to Mike Schwartz' trip report for this County, PA. It was a breezy, cool day, with witch hazel blooming and a surprising number of late-season blueberries available. The change: instead of now being a drive-up-and-wander the flat summit, the gravel woods road is now gated 2.5 miles from the summit, with a sign saying "no motor vehicles." It was a very pleasant hike, on a road smooth enough to push a four-year-old in a stroller most of the way, but you now need a couple hours to secure the point.
