4 points 1 mile northwest of Hendersonville (1,620+ ft)

From the junction of US 62, PA 358, and PA 173 in Sandy Lake, take PA 173 south 0.3 miles, and bear left onto Hendersonville Road, which crests slightly at about 4.5 miles. There is a house very near the crest. About 300 yards NW of house, logging trails go both north and south into the woods. On the north side, the trail leads directly to the highest ground. Take a side trip parallel to the road to the high ground almost directly opposite the house. On the south side, the trail leads to a corduroy bridge over a swampy creek. After crossing, go left and stay just south of the swamp. Cross a fence line and continue ESE until you see a prominent upgrade. The highest ground is at or near the pasture's edge at the top of the knob. Barn is visible from the top, but the house is out of view. Near the corduroy bridge, you will see some relics of the long-abandoned oil field shown on the topo.
