Northumberland County Highpoint Trip Report
Boyers Knob and one point 1/2 mile east-southeast

Followed previous directions. There were a large group of ATV'ers near 125 who
looked quite surprised when I asked if the dirt road went near the old fire tower.
I guess people never ask ATV'ers for directions.
For the fire tower site, I felt the highest ground was to the west of the tower,
outside the fence. The radio tower in the middle is the large orange and white thing.
Bushwhacking to the east-southeast point from the radio tower was not too bad.
Someone with a large piece of earth moving equipment was working to the north of
the point. Much noise.
No way to get a direct sighting of both points but my sense was that the
east-southeast point was slightly higher. Cannot prove it, though.
