Harbison Canyon Hill Trip Report

1,720+ ft

A light drizzle appeared out of nowhere this morning. I waited patiently in my Saturn and then hiked sixteen minutes up a jeep trail that contoured clockwise around the northern slope, thence around the east side, and finally topping out some 500 vertical feet above my auto - readily visible 1000 feet away in the mist.

What intrigued me to do this hill is that it appears sharp as viewed along its long axis which runs roughly east-west. In truth it is far broader as seen from the north or south.

The actual hiking time up was fifteen minutes since I spent one minute tying my shoelace. Fifteen minutes down as well.

There may be a tiny 1,760 ft contour for this hill.
