Bristol County High Point Trip Report

After getting lost several time between Bristol MA and Bristol RI, I finally made it. Rhode Island road signs seemed to me to be a little lacking. There were a veritable plethora of no trespassing signs along the approach road including one warning of an attack dog. Found the gate listed in the trip report on the web site and there were no postings in that area. There was no evidence of poison ivy in the area. I think this may have been due to the snow cover.

The right road can be found on RI 136 by watching for the sign to the Haffenreffer Museum. Turn East here and bear left at the first fork then go straight ahead where a large sign for the Museum points to the left. The gate is straight ahead about 100 yards. Parking in the winter seemed to be OK.
