Sully County High Point Trip Report

From Pierre, take Highway 14/83 north about 1.5 miles and turn left onto SD1804. Follow this paved road
about 24 miles to a stop sign where SD1804 turns right. A sign to Little Bend points left. Turn left and
drive 2.25 miles to the road crest. I parked here at an opening in the fence, but one could drive up another
1/4 mile to a fence.
Walk southeast along the ridge, cross a fence, and climb to the highpoint. I didn't find a benchmark,
but there is a metal pipe marked 'MO. River Comm.' at the summit. There is a fence just past the highpoint with
some rocks just on the other side, but the post seems highest.
