Chester County High Point Trip Report
Sand Mtn (740+ ft)

From the town of Henderson, go east on Highway 100 for 7 miles and turn right onto Highway 22A. Go
almost 2 miles and turn left onto Harold Grove Road for about 1.2 miles, then turn right on Richardson
Road and go 1 mile to Tower Road and turn left. Go about 0.8 mile, and Sand Mountain will be visible
on the right, about 150 yards away. Park on the side of the road and hike up to the top, which has
obviously been logged. The next door neighbors didn't own it, but said that there would be no problem
with walking to the top.
