From Johnson City, at the junction of highways 23/19W and 67, drive southwest on Highway 67 for about 3 miles to Dry Creek Road on the left. Turn left and follow this road for about 5.5 - 6 miles and look for an unsigned gravel road on the left that has a gate (open when I was there). This seems to be a public hunting area, so access is probably open except maybe October - January 10 or so. Follow the gravel road, which is quite rough, but passable in a passenger car, for 2 - 2.5 miles to a T. Turn left and follow this road uphill about 2 miles toward the summit and tower. There is a gate (closed on my visit) about 200 yards before the summit tower. Either walk up the ridge on ATV trails or follow the gravel road to the top.

There is a fence at the tower, but it is open.
