Bowie County High Point Trip Report

On TX 82 at the Bowie - Red River County line (which is marked) proceed just 0.2 miles westward to a
signed county road on your right (north). There are actually a couple of signs here. One blue and one
red. Turn right onto this county road and zero the odometer. After going 1/2 mile, the road will veer to
your right (east) and almost immediately there after you should notice a house that sits atop a little rise to
your left. The driveway to the home is marked with a yellow Texarkana Gazelle mailbox. Swing left up
the driveway and see if the owners are home.
The house seems to sit atop the highest point so you need to get out and do some walking if the owners
will let you. I didn't make contact with them while I was there.
