Denton County High Point Trip Report

From I-35, take exit 477 (Texas FM Road 455) west for 12.8 miles to the town of Slidell, which is in Wise
County. Right after crossing into Wise County, follow County Road 2820 into Slidell - it is marked with a
small sign. Road dead-ends in town, turn right on County Road 2822 (northeast). Road turns into gravel
at edge of town, 0.1 mile later it turns due north into County Line Road. Highpoint is 0.4 mile north,
roughly marked by County Road 2825 going northwest, followed by Waide Road going east. The HP is on
the road, as the area to the east of the road (in Denton Co) is lower than the road itself.
