Area #1: From the intersection of US 69 and TX 121 in the town of Trenton, drive northwest on US 69.
At 1.9 miles north of 121, turn left (west) on an unmarked gravel road. Proceed west on this road for 1.3
miles, crosses a railroad track at 0.8 mile from US 69. Park along side of road. First hp area is in a field
north of the road. Highest area is around a grove of trees and an old shed in the center of the field, about
200-250 yards north of the road.
Area #2: Leaving the site of area #1, continue west on gravel road for 0.2 mile, then turn left at dead-end
onto another gravel road. Proceed south for 1.0 mile; turn left (east) on yet another gravel road, and
proceed east. This one turns to rutted dirt shortly. Continue east for about 1.5 miles to a dead end at
another section line road; park. You can access the hp area through an ungated opening in a fence line
behind the intersection. The hp is an obvious rise about 0.4 mile east of the road. If you reach the power
line, you've gone too far. You may also be able to reach this area, and a bit shorter walk, from another
section-line road to the south.
