Lampasas County High Point Trip Report

Drive US183 between Goldthwaite and Lometa to a point 2.5 miles southeast of the county line. Here the
highway is intersected by a north-south road that runs west of the hp. Just north of the highway, we found
an unlocked, unposted gate.
The route to the hp goes through grassland, up a steep section, and on to a very flat area. It is difficult to
determine an exact hp in the open area so a good bit of tromping around is required.
