Take FM-946 2.2 mi. S from US-190 at Oakhurst. Park at the gate and walk up a woods road a short
distance to HP area which has been selective cut. My elderly map of Sam Houston NF shows this as
private but I didn't see any posted signs.
I didn't visit the other potential HP of this county as it was getting dark.
