Somervell County High Point Trip Report

From US67 between Stephenville and Glen Rose, about 3/4 mile east of the Erath-Somervell county line,
find CR1006 heading north. Drive 3/4 mile north on CR1006 to an entry road on the left.
I drove in to a house where I found a family that spoke little English. I spoke no Spanish,
but we communicated well enough for them to grant permission to drive in to a point east of the hps.
The road shown on the topo crossing the pass between the hps is long gone.
The walk involved crossing fences and going through much thick brush to visit the five hps.
Only the western one offers much of a view.
