This highpoint is located not far from San Antonio and there are many ways to get to it. One option is to
take US-87 to the town of La Vernia, then FM-775 south about 4 miles, then west on FM-3432 another 3
miles to "Kicaster Korner", a somewhat decrepit store located on the corner of the road leading to the little
town of Kicaster. A historical marker is at this corner. Turn south onto the road for a little over a mile.
Where the road makes a slight bend, stop and park.
The highpoint is located in the trees on the east side of the road - a quick 10-foot gain in about 100 feet of hiking.
A private residence abuts the highpoint contour and a fence line crosses over it.
