Appomattox County Highpoint Trip Report

Mike Stinson's driving directions were spot on. I believe he started measuring at the US460/VA24 split. With a 4WD (and dry weather), you could drive this one, although I chose to walk. Agree with Mike that you would have to wash off the mud. I built a small cairn (two rocks about the size of 5 pound bags of sugar) on the left of the trail at what I took to be the HP. Feel free to add to it or move it if you disagree with the location.

The area is heavily posted with hunting association signs, so I presume the HP may be inappropriate during hunting season.

Maybe 25 minutes each way.
