Appomattox County Highpoint Trip Report

Mike Stinson's driving directions were spot on.  I believe he started measuring at the US460/VA24 split.  
With a 4WD (and dry weather), you could drive this one, although I chose to walk.  Agree with Mike that 
you would have to wash off the mud.  I built a small cairn (two rocks about the size of 5 pound bags of sugar) 
on the left of the trail at what I took to be the HP.  Feel free to add to it or move it if you disagree 
with the location. 
The area is heavily posted with hunting association signs, 
so I presume the HP may be inappropriate during hunting season. 
Maybe 25 minutes each way.
