Clarke County High Point Trip Report

northern half

Dale Millsap's report is good. I found that parking at the tower made access harder. Instead, park at the gate Dale mentions. Walk along the driveway to get to the HP areas. The ridge line does make a funny S-turn, with the middle of the S, with both areas, along the driveway. I felt that the first area was to the right of the driveway in an obvious elevated area, which has a tree with a big white splotch. I felt that the second area was around the house, and so has been disturbed. Hard to say which is higher.

southern half

Dale Millsap's report gives good directions to the area, but doesn't describe the second area in the general area. From the first area Dale describes, continue north on Fire Trail Road. The road crosses the ridge line, and goes by a mowed area on the left. This is the obvious HP area, and judging from the topo, is almost definitely higher than the nearby area to the south. The HP is in the field, and I could not find BM Paris.
