Dinwiddie County High Point Trip Report

Directions were provided by Fred Lobdell, with minor mileage changes. Take US 460 east 1.6 miles from
its junction with VA 153, crossing the Dinwiddie/Nottoway County line, to CR 642. Turn right (south)
on 642 and go about 0.3 miles to the high area, before and within sight of the bridge over the railroad.
The highest natural area seems to be on the east side of the road in/near a patch of woods. Walk toward
the bridge, to cover all the natural high ground before the man-made rise at the bridge. The 410+ ft area
south of the bridge is clearly man-made.
