Henry County Highpoint Trip Report

DeLorme has 108 coming north out of Martinsville. The road signs have 174. However, 108 does start
where 174 makes the turn west. Otherwise, follow the directions from the wildlife management web site.
At the top of the hill, north of Giles store, turn into parking area and follow good dirt/gravel road
to the first HP.
The roads do not meet as acutely as on the map but it is otherwise easy enough to follow.
Sorry, I did not measure the distance but estimate it is slightly farther than 2 miles.
Old tower has been torn down and detritus is off to the side.
Second point is an easy bushwhack along the relatively flat top of the mountain.
