King William County High Point Trip Report

From Richmond, Route 360 North, took a left on Route 30. After 11.6 miles, almost due north of the western point, park at the trailhead in front of the gate (beware of drainage ditches).

The area has a woods road probably going right over the point, but is covered in thick, young (15 foot) pine forest. I found a few candidates for high ground at the coordinates, but the area was very disturbed from logging years ago. Hike around to satisfy yourself.

For point two, I returned east, and took the first right south. Due east of the point (between two houses), I pulled over and entered the woods. The areas was heavily strewn with bottles and other trash. Ugly. Found a high piece of ground, and left.
