King and Queen County Highpoint Trip Report

one unnamed area (210+ ft)

Date: November 5, 2004
Author: Fred Lobdell

We followed Chip Clark's accurate report for this one. The recently logged field that he reported has now been overrun with 8 to 10 foot tall weeds, making the seeing and going more difficult. We found a dirt road at the north end of the field at the boundary between woods and field and found it easiest to walk up this road until we were about due north of the high ground. From there, we bushwhacked south and uphill to the high point. We agree with Chip's estimate of the high point as being about 500 feet from the road.
