Louisa County High Point Trip Report

Date: August 4, 2000
Author: Fred Lobdell

This county high point is easily done in conjunction with that of Fluvanna County.

From the exit for US 15 and Zion Crossroads off I-64, go south on 15 about a half mile to US 250. Turn left (east) on 250 and go about 4 miles to county 626. Turn right (south) on 626. In 0.1 miles 626 will go left (southeast); so should you. (County 696 goes straight here.) In another 0.6 miles 626 goes right (south); so should you. (County 696 also goes straight here!) In 0.1 miles the road rises to a height of land, and you are there. The high area appears to be on the front lawn of a house on the right (west) side of the road, under a large tree.
