Manassas Park City High Point Trip Report
one small area 1/2 mile NNW of Bloom Crossing (320+ ft)

From the Manassas City high point, backtrack on Portner, turn right onto Sudley, and after a few blocks,
turn left onto VA28/Centreville Road. About two miles NE, just past the Manassas Park City water tank on
the left, turn right onto Manassas Drive (Crown Station on corner), and go 0.4 miles to a traffic light at
Euclid Avenue. Turn left and make an immediate left onto Blooms Quarry Lane. High ground is just ahead
alongside the north side of the road, at a low crest opposite another water tank. Next to a "buried cable"
marker is a metal stake with a felt flag attached, and lots of surveyor's tape on the bushes,
that may represent an informal marking of the city high point.
