Take 33 west from Gordonsville. At the end of the white fence for Aerie Farm, take a right directly across from a very green house.

I followed the driveway to the end and spoke with a Mr. Carter in the last house. He did not want me on his property at all, and he didn't know who owned the mountain itself, so I obliged and followed the road back down a bit.

Just below the next to last house, there is another driveway going west. Follow it as it curves north to a clearing with a house trailer, a camper, lots of old cars, and outbuildings. There was a chained dog and some chickens in the yard, but nobody answered at the door, so I left the car parked in the clearing and started uphill. Just to the west is a fence line. Follow the fence line uphill all the way to the top, where there is a sign posted "No Hunting". The top is rather broad, with several humps, so it requires a bit of walking through the thick brush to achieve satisfaction.
