Sussex County High Point Trip Report
3 areas 1/2 mile SSW to 1/2 mile NW of Concord Church (270+ ft)

From VA 40, between I-85 and I-95, take CR 619 south 3.5 miles to the Sussex/Dinwiddie County Line.
Go right (west) onto a farm road at 3.7 miles, just before a very large tree and bungalow on the right.
Reach the northernmost area at 4.0 miles, at the point where the farm road turns left, near the
(abandoned) buildings shown on the topo. Go south to 4.4 miles for the middle area, a very low rise
at/near the road. Pass a house at 4.7 miles, with the southern area at/near the road or into
the woods a few feet.
All three areas rise very little from the flat surrounding ground. Reach a better gravel road at 4.8 miles,
and go left to return to CR 619 at 5.0 miles.
