Cowlitz County Highpoint Trip Report

Amy joined me for this one since she was born and raised in Cowlitz. Don Nelsen's directions on summitpost.org were excellent. The bushwhack up was not too terrible and we enjoyed great views of Mount Saint Helens. About halfway down, a branch grabbed my sneaker. My body kept descending and the branch wouldn't let go. The end result was a stretched/sprained ankle. I managed to hobble down, glad this was the last scheduled hike of the trip!
