From I-50, exit 142B at US-12/18, zero odometer.
0.0 I-50 at US-12/18 - go east on US-12/18.
13.6 In Cambridge, US-12 and US-18 splits - bear right on US-12 (east).
14.3 Dane/Jefferson county line - continue straight (east).
20.0 J Road - turn left (north).
20.8 G Road - turn left (north).
21.9 Dell Road on the left - go straight (north).
22.0 At address N 40 71, turn left up a steep driveway.
22.2 House on top - park.
Ask permission to roam around the #1 high point - a drive-up gimme.

Return to US-12 at J Road and zero odometer.
0.0 US-12 at J Road - go east on US-12.
14.0 WI-59 (Newcomb Street) - turn left.
22.4 Palmyra - turn left (east) on Spring Lake Road.
23.2 Dirt track on right - park.
I followed the dirt track up the hill to where it topped out,
then bushwhacked south to the #2 high point at the BM.
It was about 230 feet of gain from the car.
