Take WI 101 south 0.4 miles from the Florence/Forest County line, and go left (east) on CR F. It enters Marinette County at 0.8 miles and becomes CR H. Bear sharply right at 2.5 miles, pass Hilbert Lake Road on the right at 2.9 miles (at spot elevation 1590), and reach a crest at 3.4 miles. This point is 2.8 miles north of US 8 via CR H. Park in a pullout on the west side of the road.

Walk SW on the overgrown road about 200 feet, then angle left at a 45 degree angle until you reach a fence line. Follow the fence uphill until it turns left at a corner, from which you angle uphill following the broad ridge line on an easy bushwhack. Reach a false summit, followed by a slight dip, then continue uphill to an obvious broad summit. Lots of small bumps and disturbed ground on top. Suggest use of compass on the return until you reach the fence line. Maybe 15 minutes to the top.
