I visited the Kenosha highpoint last summer, and I am surprised that he did not count me as being one of the respectful visitors. I went and talked to a man in the nearest house and found out that the highpoint is on the orchard property. Then I went and talked with the man who owned the orchard and offered to pay him to go with me to the highpoint (he said I could only go accompanied by him). He asked if I was a part of the highpointing club and I told him that (as of last summer) I had never met anyone in the club in person and was just able to highpoint based on strangers' research of where county highpoints are. He drove me to the top with his side-by-side and then I offered to give him $20. He declined the payment. He was pretty grumpy the whole time and told me about other people showing up on the first day of deer season in brown, driving through his pumpkin patch, etc. but was still permissive. I'm not sure how to be "respectful" in the future, but I'm sure that the only way to accomplish that is to only talk with the orchard owner directly, and not to talk with any neighbors or relatives. Another tip: do not park on the side of the road as he will be very upset about it. You must pull off onto the gravel road of the orchard because the road is narrow and dangerous.

Edward's family has announced the date of the service, but I have so far not
learned the time or place. This information will be provided when it is
known. The family is hoping that many of his friends will be able to attend.

I hope to see many of you there.

Bob Bolton
